With sweater weather upon us...

As the days cool off many of us are finding ourselves faced with choices (sometimes it feels like too many choices!) as we shop for sweaters, coats and blankets to keep us warm. Sadly, the wool industry is much more violent than most people realize, but there are so many other soft and cozy fabrics available that it's easy for each of us to do our part to lessen the suffering. Next time you shop, please consider cotton, polar fleece, hemp, bamboo, modal, tencel and the many other natural and synthetic fabrics on the market which do not incorporate animal products. And enjoy the cool, crisp weather!
